Join MVBA

The Magic Valley Builders Association has three types of members.  Builder members, whose primary business activity is residential or commercial construction, remodeling or reconstruction.  Associate members, who are trade contractors and businesses or companies that are in the building industry. Affiliate members are employees or independent agents of a member company that have chosen to be individually active within the MVBA.

Our Mission Statement

The Magic Valley Builders Association, a non-profit organization, is affliliated with the Idaho Building Contractors Association and the National Association of Home Builders.  We represent the building industry and related businesses by striving to promote quality building practices, standards and ethics.  Our goal is to benefit the community and the industry through involvement, education and promotion of economic growth.

By submitting this form, I agree to abide by the Constitution and By-Laws of the Magic Valley Builders Association, of the National Association of Home Builders of the United States, and of the Idaho Building Contractors Association wiht which the MVBA is affiliated. A remitance of $400 representing my annual membership dues for the Magic Valley Builders Association accompanies this application.

    Dues payment to MVBA is not deductible as charitable contributions for federal tax purposes. However, dues payments may be deductible by members as an ordinary and neccessary business expense, subject to exclusion for lobbying activity. Because a portion of your dues is used for lobbying by NAHB, 12% of the total dues, or $18 is not deductible for income tax purposes. Please keep a copy for your tax records.
